I have recently started to litter pick on the canal as lock-down has lifted and more people are out and about dropping their litter. This is something I have been planning for a while. Please can everyone who reads this to remember that litter can be harmful to our wildlife and environment.
Whilst on my first litter pick, I also noticed an area that needed trimming back so I returned a week later and trimmed down the overgrown weeds and bushes to allow people to walk by on the narrow footpath.
